About Godswill
Employee & Industrial Relations Lead · Chartered MCIPD, MCIPM
As a Chartered HR professional (MCIPD) and Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM), I operate at the intersection of people strategy, industrial relations, and organisational governance within complex and highly unionised environments. With close to two decades of experience across the HR value chain, my work has increasingly focused on shaping sustainable employee relations frameworks that balance organisational performance with employee voice.
I specialise in navigating sensitive labour environments, advising leadership on workforce risk, and building structured engagement models that sustain operational stability. Throughout my career in the energy sector, I have led and supported collective bargaining processes with unions, industrial relations strategy, and high-stakes employee relations matters — centred on disciplined stakeholder engagement, evidence-based decision-making, and ethical judgement.
Beyond negotiations and case resolution, I provide strategic advisory to leadership on workforce governance, labour law developments, and emerging industrial relations risks — designing engagement strategies with unions, guiding complex investigations, strengthening policy frameworks, and ensuring organisations remain compliant and resilient in evolving regulatory environments. Engaging with global HR perspectives through the CIPD professional community continues to broaden my thinking on the future of people practice.
